breakfast craziness
« on: July 19, 2011, 01:30:26 am »
DS is a little over 11 months and refuses to eat breakfast.  About half an hour after he wakes I give him a bottle (6oz) and he usually only take 3-4oz.  I wait an hour and then give him breakfast (scrambled eggs, toast, cereal.. ect) but won't eat anything other than yogurt.  I have tried giving him solids before the bottle and as soon as he wakes but still won't eat.  I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and what they do?  He eats a good amount when it comes to lunch and dinner but breakfast is a disaster!  He is on the smaller side.. 18lbs.  I know he won't starve but he won't even open his mouth to try anything in the morning.

I think some LOs (like some adults) are just not as hungry in the morning.  I wouldn't worry!  :)

Hiya, my Lo was exactly the same! Recently I tried giving her oats porridge with some mashed banana and blended fruit in it and suddenly she loves breakfast (still doesn't eat as much as other meals). But i know how they feel as I really don't like eating early in the day :-)
