Hi, I love my little boy to bits but am exhausted and just don't know what to do without sleep.  I have not had more than  4 hours consecutive sleep for 9 months now, and it's making me ill.  I have always breastfed and my little boy is now on solids too.
My LO will be 9 months next week, our normal routine is:
Up at 6, porridge with banana or blueberries at 6.45-7.
8.30-9am nap (60-90 mins)
11am breastfeed (5-10 minutes)
12 lunch pasta and fruit puree
1.30pm-2pm nap (45 mins)
3pm breastfeed (5-10 minutes)
3.30 snacks
4.30-5pm dinner meat, veg, fruit crumble
6pm bath, followed by breastfeed (5-10 minutes) and sleep
whinges about 8.30-9pm but settles himself
10.30-11pm wakes and cries doesn't settle unless breastfed - not sure he needs it but if I don't he cries more and gets louder
This continues almost hourly until 4.30 then I usually am too tired to attempt to put him in his own cot and leave him in bed with me so I can have 1.5 hours sleep
This all started when his first teeth appeared at 7 months prior to that he woke at 1am and 4 am.  He now has 4 teeth and possibly another one about to cut.
He has a blanky which he cuddles up to and will sometimes chew, I have also given him a dummy but when cries won't let me put it anywhere near his mouth, yet does suckle it to go to sleep initially.
I am desperate for 4 hours sleep I feel numb now.  Luckily he is an angel during the day.  PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

((HUGS)))  Do you think maybe he is a bit OT now from short naps and NWs?  Are you waking him from naps or is he waking on his own?

Also, frequent NWs for us are often discomfort.  Have you tried medicating for his teeth?  It sounds like the poor guy is getting a lot of teeth at once.
