6Mo position for bottle feed?

How upright should lo be to drink a bottle at 6mo? Does this vary for df? Or nf?

I think whatever works for your LO. Some like to be quite upright, some like to be more horizontal, I don't think there is a right or wrong position!

I kept my two fairly upright, sort of slightly inclines sitting because of reflux, but for nightfeeds they were more laid back like a breastfeeding position.

Thanks Laura. I only have experience bottle feeding newborns since my Ds1 refused the bottle from 3mo. I have been lying him down but he seemed to be struggling lately. I couldn't recall when the babies stop being able to drink flat. I did him slightly reclined today and also with a lower teat as i thought maybe it was too fast. He seemed better as not spluttering. He kept sucking the teat really flat though so maybe it is too slow. Will try the no 3 teat sitting up. Thanks for your help.

If he is sucking the teat flat it's too slow! I would try a faster teat and have him a bit more upright too!

Thanks will do. Took him about 30mins to take 6oz tonight. It was hard work!
