Sleep can happen when out and about. At this age its not a drama for the sleeps to be in the pram/car/baby carrier/sling, its more about keeping the order of events eating, activity, sleeping. If you're ok to feed while you're out, its exceptionally easy to do. I just used to leave the house ~9am (when I'd had a shower and felt a bit presentable), walk around and if DS slept, he slept.
