1 year old will not sleep in cot help!!

Hi all, new to this site and would really appreciate some advice.
My 1 year old daughter has never really taken to her cot but its not getting to the stage where she doessnt even like going into her bedroom.  She has never slept in her cot all night, 3 hours if i'm lucky.

Any advice on this please ? xx

Does she play in her bedroom during the day?

Whats her Routine like?

She sleeps in my bed!  Nightmare  
yeah she will play in her room but as soon as it comes to bedtime she freaks out.

routine is -
6.30 - bath
7pm - milk
7.30 - bed time

am i doing something wrong?

ive tried sitting in her bedroom when i put her in the cot but she just screams non stop

what time does she nap?
I think your best bet would be to sleep next to her in her room, then gradually move away.

Do you think it would be ok to take down one side of her cot?

no not really, just thought that if i maybe took the side off it would be more like a bed to her?
