how much Activity/Awake time should a one month old be doing?

My DD1 did about an hour but my DD2 couldn't handle any more than 40 minutes tops.  If i missed that windown settling her was a nightmare x

My DD2 is 1 month old and can barely handle 40 min.  And this is pushing it as in if I'm not trying to get her down at 40 min we are in for an OT baby!!!
