Quick question for today
« on: December 24, 2011, 12:45:40 pm »
First of all, Merry Christmas to all you lovely moms and dads out there.

I need a little advice on what to do today as it will be a long day for us since we are going to my MIL's house followed by my parents place for Christmas.  I let Alyssa sleep in 20extra minutes so her day would be pushed out a little. My goal is to get her to sleep at my parents place. Madison gave me an EW this morning. She woke up at 5:30am and I don't think she went back to sleep.  I suspect this is an UT waking. Anyhow, I was going to let her nap for 2hours, if she does and then aim for a 9pm bt-that is when we are going to leave my parents house. I am just afraid it will be a really long day for her.

what do you think?

Merry Christmas sweetie. I say roll with it, she'll have lots to entertain herself with and just watch her for getting overwhelmed. I find the girls sometimes need a longer wind down when travelling and it's done right in the bedroom.  But at the end of the day, try to relax and let it all flow and enjoy.
