cluster feeding
« on: January 26, 2012, 05:03:21 am »
I stopped cluster feeding about 3 weeks ago.  Over the last 3 weeks as well I've noticed night feedings are getting earlier and earlier in the night.  Should I go back to cluster feeding?  DD is 14 weeks and I feel we will be having Night feedings for a year at the rate we are going. :-\  obviously I'm being unrealistic.

Yes, she takes it really well.  We do it at 11pm.

How much is she taking at feeds during the day - how long is it taking her to finish a feed?

She takes about 3.5 to 4 oz at each feed, except for today she took 5 at her 4:00pm feed and at her bedtime feed!!!!  But that is unusual.  She goes about 3-3.5hrs between feeds when short naps don't make things different.  And it takes her about 10 min to finish a feed.
