Always Napping too long? Should I worry?
« on: March 07, 2012, 22:38:58 pm »
Hi... I have been posting recently to check my easy etc as my LO is currently gong through swaddle weaning but will wake at night due to poo, wind or something I can't work out and I just wondered if it might have something to do with naps...

She currently is around a 3 hour A time - a little less in the morning, but I always wake her at the moment... In the morning after 2 hours and afternoon after 1.5 hours as when she wakes in the night she is full of life until i reswaddled her!

Should I leave her?

Hi there, I would think if there is poo at night there isn't a great deal you can do about it but just wait for her to change her poop time.
The only thing I can think of would be to try W2S before the poop NW to see if she will go into a new cycle and sleep through that time.  Maybe habitual waking and once awake her bodily functions get moving you know?  On the other hand if she has to go, she has to go.
I don't think changing naps would help with night poop or habitual night wakes though.  I did have a quick look at your EASY and looks good.  If you feel you want to try leaving her to wake naturally from them just try and see what happens?  I would keep records throughout so you can have a good look at any pattern forming.
