What to do when EBT does not work?

Hi There,

Ok been doing PU/PD for about a week now.

Worked really well but the two occasions when I have put Ruby to bed Early as she hasnt slept much in the day (like today) she has gone absolutely hysterical.
Today she woke at 6.30am, slept 12.45pm-1.15pm and that is it!
I KNOW she is over tired but absolutely refuses to sleep in the day for more than 1 hour on a good day.
I started her bedtime routine at 5.30pm tonight, she slept for 30 mins and then that was it.
Me and my OH are currently taking it in turns to soothe her but Im really lost.
Its a struggle keeping her awake until 6.30pm but it seems if I do at least she falls asleep.

Im really lost. I know she needs to sleep and is tired at 5.30pm but she resists going to bed so badly!! any advice anyone?

Can you do the nap earlier?  she's doing 6 hours A time which is a lot for 13 months when she isn't napping long.  And then if you get a short nap go for another nap later on rather than an EBT?

It seems alternate days she will nap am for 30 mins, pm for 30 mins then the next day 30 mins at lunchtime.
Ive tried putting her down at 10am and 11am and she will just howl the place down

Bath for 10 minutes, dim lighting in bedroom and music box, bottle of milk, bed
