Hi breasties,
DD is teething. I've been saying it for months - but this time, it is/has come through the gum. *Hoorah, some vindication!*
Since she's been teething she's not been able to BF as well on the left side. (Her tooth cutting bottom left - maybe another one coming bottom right).
It's been a of couple days and she seems to want milk quicker again after being fed on that side last. She's waking in the night with discomfort and sometimes we can p/ssh her off with some bonjela etc but often she seems to want another one feed in the night atm. (I may be being paranoid - but often I finish the day with her on the left)
I don't know if it's a GS/teething combo. Or whether it still hurts her as it makes its way through (but I thought when it breaks through the gum - they're happier..?) Or whether she WAS finding it hard and now the supply on the left is just down!!! OR... worse case scenario - bad habits have adorned.
I'm tired, v v tired so it's hard to think straight.
I would love advice about if I should express to get it back up to scratch. And if so how do I go about doing this well?
She's been EW A LOT the last month with so many diff health issues and A time issues and the NW was every now and then - but now it's cropped up again and seems due to teething. Before all of this she was STTN since 11 weeks.
She can't seem to stay awake as long atm during the day and last week she started solids (She's 6 months) but I guess due to teething - she won't have any of it. Will suck a bit from a banana but puree she loved last week has gone out of the window.
Any advice at all would be appreciated!
Thanks again x x
