For every pint of water your cake tin will hold you need:
2oz marge or butter
2oz self-raising flour
0.5 tsp baking powder
2oz sugar
1 egg
0.5 tsp warm water

Mix it all together, cook at 180C for about 30 minutes. If you want it to be chocolate, add some cocoa powder.
