started talking in her sleep?
« on: April 14, 2012, 20:50:55 pm »
Hi

My little girl will be 4 in july. This past few nights shes started talking in her sleep. shes in their now flat out but shes asleep. we have a new baby arriving any day now and she was sick with a cough.

my husband went in to peep their and said he stood at the bottom of her bed and listened to her. shes not making any sence whats shes saying but he said he waved in at her and she waved back smiling. she opened her eyes when he went over to her bedside and then back to sleep. weird or what?

shes quiet now.

M goes through periods of chatting in her sleep.  Sometimes makes sense other times none at all.  She does it more when she is OT or had a short night the night before.

Is your LO running low on sleep at the minute?

I definately find M is worse when she's had uninterupted sleep.  I also find when we're having a busy time she does it more.  Like when she first started nursery.  I think a lot of it is to do with them processing things so I imagine if they are taking loads in they have to process lots at night too.

DH talks in his sleep too and definately does it more when he is stressed and has lots going on so must be genetic!
