Not getting all unread posts...?

Hi all usually when I open BW i hit the show unread posts button to see what's new. lately I've been only getting two pages of posts and just assumed there was less traffic than usual. Today I went onto particular board and saw that there were new posts on that board that were not coming up when I hit show unread posts since last visit...any clues?

sometimes this just seems to happen to people.  no idea, other than try & delete the cookies/cache/temporary files from your browser.  then everything will just start over again & this site should be okay again.

I missed this -- because I have the same problem!  It's been about 6 months now, and Tom tried to work it out for me and he could never figure it out. There are mornings when I log-in and have not been on since 8pm the night before and there are only 2 unread posts, but I go to a board and there are dozens.  No idea why. I have deleted cookies, tried a different browser (Ie/ Firefox vs Chrome) and it happens on my mobile as well.  Noooooooo clue --- but do let me know if you figure it out!!!!

Hey Mashi, I just cleared all the private data for today - I think its better but I guess I won't really know until tomorrow...I am now getting 3 pages of unread posts...

Yes - this is weird what browser are you all using...we use Firefox - could it be something in the new updated firefox?

I get it quite frequently using Chrome...I just click on All Unread Topics and they come up. Strange though...

hmm... i use chrome.. perhaps thats my issue too...
