I'd give it a few more days before giving up, you never know if you've hit a GS or not -- those wakings almost sound like one.

Thanks ladies.  Re the bottle feed we have tried getting the milk increasingly warm to no avail.

...and yes I will continue to hang in with the BF DF.  Nice to hope it may be a growth spurt.

Thanks for thinking of me Amanda.

We've continued with the BF DF and things have definitely got better.  For about 3 days in a row now he has slept through to 4 am after sleep for the night between 7 and 8 pm and a 10.00 pm DF.

Still wish we could turn it in to a successful bottle feed DF.  Maybe I should push the DF to a bit later and he might be more desperate for a feed so might go for the bottle more.  We are still trying the bottle out sometimes during the day.  He never has brilliant feeds on it but at least doesn't outright reject it.  Hmmm....

Some just don't care for a bottle.  If you're doing ok with the DF by breast, just keep going :)

I want to keep trying more with the bottle during the day when I can as hopefully he'll get more used to it.  I would really like the DF to be a bottle feed so I can go to sleep then and husband can help out.

Fingers crossed.

Keep going then.  You may find that he just takes to it one day :)
