I'm sure this has been discussed many times, but the search button seems to be broken
Back story: I have 20 week old BG twins who are EBF and have been STTN since about 10 weeks. They were on the textbook 3 hour EASY until they hit the 4 month mark, and then naps went bad and they weren't interested in eating every 3 hours. After input from several wonderful people on here (thank you!), I realized it was time to increase their A time and move to a 4 hour EASY. This worked perfectly for my daughter but not my son.
Daughter has to be woken up at 7am so that is when her day starts. When we would wake her up, I noticed my son would be up. And this has always been the case (he would be awake when we went to get them). But he would be smiling and happy when we woke him, so I figured he had only been up for a little while.
Also, I have been gradually increasing their wake times from 7-8:30, 8:45 and 9ish. Son was not sleeping past the 45 minute mark and even woke up in the MOTN, which he hasn't done in 2 months.
Cut to this morning where I awoke at 6 and decided to look on the monitor. Sure enough, the little man is up and wiggling around. But not making one peep.
So my question is how does this early waking factor into his EASY? No wonder he was melting down when I kept him up until 9...that was 3 hours of A time! Is there any way to get him to sleep until 7am?
Also, we feed at 7, 11, 4, 7 and DF at 10.
