Do solids affect night time sleep?
« on: August 24, 2012, 00:13:48 am »
As the title suggests...if in trying out a new food and it's given either morning or at tea time, and its causing tummy upset what part of the night would it most likely affect? So, if I was to give it at tea time and it didn't agree with baby would it affect deep night sleep or early morning sleep? Just is I can rule out solids as a cause of nw...

Foods tend to run through LO in ~24hr max. and the first 12hr or so are when you'll see the most discomfort (and when pooing is the food is too drying/constipating.

Best off giving new foods in the morning as they can work through during the day and only stuff up your naps ;)
