Hi there! I have used EASY will all my 3 children but have not posted in a very long time...I am hoping I can get some advice please. Not sure I am posting in the right area so just let me know if I should be somewhere else  :)

DS is 5.5 months old and everything has been clockwork with EAS until about 10 days ago...his routine up until then was roughly:

6:30 wake up and bottle
8:30 sleep for 2-2.15 hrs
10:30ish wake up and bottle
12:30ish sleep for 2-2.15 hrs
2:30ish wake up and bottle
4:30 catnap for 45 minutes
5:30ish solids (been on them for 2-3 weeks now)
Bath, Bottle and back in bed by 6:30-7ish
DF 10:30ish and would go through most nights with a few wakings but go back to sleep straight away

So about 10 days ago the EW started and DS gets up around 5-5:30am. I know when DD1 started with EW and with reading all the helpful info on the forum, it might mean that he needs more A time. Sooo I have started increasing his A time in the morning. I have got it upto 8:00 and will increase more every few days until I get to eventually get to 9 or is that too late? (Our ideal wake up time is around 6:30).

As I am increasing the first A time, should I also increase the second and third A time or too much risk of OT?

Just to throw a spanner at me...DS has decided to fight his catnap...2 days now. First day he finally fell sleep after an hr (so meant 3 hrs awake) but yesterday after a while I just got him up and he was in bed by 6pm and crying hard with OT  :( poor little thing.

I was not expecting the 3-2 transition this soon to be honest?? Not sure of a plan if he is both dropping catnap and having EW?

Any advice would be really great  :)
Thanks!

It does sounds Ike your heading towards the 3-2 ;)
Your doing everything right in gently pushing those A times. I would try to push the first a touch, and then if you get a good nap do the same with the next. If you feel your LO doesn't cope well with OT maybe do one A time at a time.
WRT the CN, can you cap this at 30 mins rather than 45 to make him more tired at BT? So if you added 10/15 mins onto each A and capped the Cn your day may look like this
6.30 WU
A 2hrs45
S 8.45 nap for 2 hrs
A 2.5 hrs (if yor LO usually has a shorter A here as I noticed in your eas example)
S 1.15 nap for 2 hrs
A 2-2hrs15
S CN 30 mins @ 5.15/5.30
A 1.5 hrs
BT 7-7.30
