Napping in the same location
« on: October 22, 2012, 06:56:14 am »
Hi

I'm about to start my EASY schedule tomorrow. And have one more question regarding the plan...

At the moment, we are starting our summer period and it is too warm for my son to sleep in his cot during the day time (mostly from about 10am to 5pm). So how do you suggest I go about lying him down for a nap during the day, if it is supposed to be in the same location every time.

You don't have to have our LO nap in the cot for all naps, some people wish they had napped their LO in different places as later on they will only sleep in the cot ;) (me lol!)

You can do a buggy/pram ride that covers his S time, or a car ride, or if you have a baby seat or swing etc you could use that. Some mums like to take a nap with their LO and co sleep for 1 nap a day.

Also, could you make the room cooler where the cot is? - maybe a fan?
HTH ...

Excellent, thank you so much. My initial concern was that may I would break the pattern for day time sleeping, but your help is great. Thank you.

Hugs, no worries. Though the book may seem like you have to do things as certain way, really all LOs are different, and EASY is meant to work for you and your LO so it's ok to go with your instincts and do what works for you both.

I've moved your other post to EASY forum, feel free to post your first day there, or your planned day for support and advice etc. x
