9.5 mo old does 1-2 NW and I feed...should I try stopping?
« on: November 02, 2012, 15:38:23 pm »
DS  usually goes down between 7-8 PM and gets up once (sometimes twice) either from midnight-2 am or from 4:15-5:45 AM. Then he usually wakes between 6:15-7:15 AM.

He is breastfed still 6-8 times a day including the NW feed. I always feed him when he wakes and he cries as I am changing his diaper and getting him redressed and stops when I feed him. He takes a full feed and does not fall asleep while eating but most times I burp/hold him for a few mins and lay him in crib and he falls asleep within a few minutes.

Am I starting a bad habit? It seems like he is hungry but maybe he is just getting used to this.
Should I try getting him back to sleep in another way? He always seems wide awake (sitting up in crib or crawling around) that I imagine it might take longer than feeding/getting him back down.

Not sure what to do on this one but don't want to have big issues down the road.

What does your daytime schedule look like?  Can you post it in this form?
