when to start easy- 1 month old..
« on: January 07, 2013, 19:26:08 pm »
my daughter is one month today and I want to implement easy with her. At what age do you suggest starting a nap/bedtime schedule? The book says to start as soon as possible, but a baby this young sleeps all day and is so unpredictable, that starting easy so young seems unrealistic- when did you all start?
I really would like to get her to a normal bedtime. As of now she won't fall asleep before midnight for the night. she usually doses off between 9 and 10, but its more of a cat nap, since she wakes and won't go back to sleep until after midnight.
Her day schedule is basically eating every 3 hrs, and napping between feeds, but lately her naps haven't been too long.
is she old enough to start a real routine? if so how long should she be awake before putting to sleep?
Sorry for all the questions!

Hi hon- We started pretty much from day one- but have a read of this, it tells you some of the main things to focus on, AND the things to not worry about!
