« on: January 24, 2013, 17:33:38 pm »
Hi! Is anyone else experiencing the witching hour? My 2 month old goes slightly batty from about 8-10 pm
Any tips?
;)

We did, ugh! Only thing that worked was driving inthe car, but I've since heard Harvey Karps method (Happiest Baby on the Block) really helps. The thing is you need to watch him do it, reading it in his book is really not enough.

What exactly is happening at this time with sleep and feeds? What is your routine like for the rest of the day? It's a bit tricky to offer tips without knowing exactly what's going on and how the day has been ;D!

Give us some more info and I'm sure we can suggest something!

Agree with Laura - could be a routine thing more than a true witching hour (though I can sympathize - we had that!).

I get what you guys are saying, but our witching hour Was at a young age, a bit younger then the OP, are routines that significant when so young? I keep reading on these boards that they are not.

Not entirely, but they can certainly be the main cause of OT screaming in the early evening.
