can she have goats milk now?
« on: January 27, 2013, 11:19:19 am »
M is 20 months and up to now has had organic cows milk to drink...DH and I drink goats milk and H has almond milk. Just wondering if she can switch to full fat goat milk now....do you think that is ok?

I don't think it would be an issue to be honest. It is not something I know much about though to be honest. My ds is allergic to both cows milk and goats milk so we don't really use either. We do have some cheese and yoghurt which is mostly used for my dd and dh's packed lunches. We do easy dairy occasionally in the house but have to be very careful.

Just had a quick look on the net and an NHS  website said that as long as the goats milk is pasteurised it is fine to give to a child over 1 year old.
