Dreamfeeding
« on: February 03, 2013, 20:07:26 pm »
Hello ladies,
My LO cluster feeds at the end of the day usually 4pm, 6pm, and then he wakes up right before his dreamfeed. I try to dreamfeed at 10 should I be doing it earlier? I dreamfeed him with a bottle of breastmilk around 4-5 ounces and then he nurses a bit more. Is this ok? Am I doing something wrong, he is 5 months old in a couple of days and feeds about every three hours at night and suffers early wakings also. He is basically on a 6:30 to 7:00 am schedule. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much in advance.

Are you encouraging a cluster feed or are you reacting to his hungry cues in the evening?  If the former, it might be time to lose the clustering and tweak your routine slightly.

Could you give us a general idea of your routine during the rest of the day, please?
