I suppose I just need someone to help me decide what to do.
Dd switched to 1 nap a couple of months ago and at first it went well but atm she is incredibly OT.  we went with a set nap time which was working but then she started waking earlier and earlier over the last two weeks and her first A time can be really long.  Here's what usually happens
wake 5:30, 6 if we are lucky
nap noon - 2
bed 7 actually we are trying to get her down before this as I think she's OT going to bed and this is causing EW's, but it's so hard to get her down earlier.  It's really a mental issue for me but also I'm not sure how early to put her down.  she usually an 11 - 11:30hr night sleeper.

Should I try to mix in two nap days or go with EBT and if EBT then when?

If she is OT and waking at 5.30-6am, then I would suggest trying an EBT around 6pm and see where that gets you.

Don't be scared of EBT - they really can work wonders ;)

I'd agree with Catherine - for us keeping the day to 12h (or less sometimes) when we get OT is what we need to get back on track.  What do you think started the OT off?

This gives me confidence.  We had a horrid 8 hr night last night (and she was so happy today??? :)) because of a crappy day yesterday and so I did put her down early but I'm afraid it wasn't early enough.

See the issue is that every sunday we have church from 1-4 and this puts a serious kink in her nap so she naps at church for a half an hour and this throws off the rest of the week and I'm playing catch up.  But I admit that I have been terrified of the EBT (why I don't know because if I do EBT and she wakes early then nothing is new?)  However, I will try EBT perhaps 6pm, this will be so hard for me!

Good luck! Hope it helps. And like you say, if she still wakes early at least she will have had not sleep beforehand.
