the
spoons&bowls etc that i use for her food are ok?
Yes, these are fine without sterilising, just wash in your usual way with your other dishes. Sippy cups, or doidy cups, open cups these are all fine to be washed as normal too.
I bought a couple of straw cups when I was ditching the morning bottle (he took more milk from a straw than a sippy and that milk intake was still important for us) but quickly realised they could trap milk like a bottle and personally felt they ought to be sterilised - so I moved to those regular disposable straws instead. A bit of extra land-fill, but no need to sterilise (we tend to throw some but others get a wash then move to the craft cupboard for counting, colour sorting, threading, making etc).
I must say, although sterilising isn't a bother, it's still really nice to be able to ditch it, one less job in the day
