What do you do when Your routine can't be followed?
« on: February 15, 2013, 15:31:57 pm »
Twice a week I go to work and my parents and in laws can't follow easy routine I have in place as they are out and about. I can't dictate they stay in at nap times etc as they're doing me a favour. As a result yesterday LO was OT and woke a lot during night and had first EW in over a week.

What do you do if others can't stick to your routine? Do I just accept that twice per week he may be off routine and get straight back to it next day?

You can do an EBT if you think he is OT at the end of the day. But there is not really much to do... It helps if the next day you make sure he has good naps and is back on his routine.
