Waking for paci
« on: March 13, 2013, 01:54:45 am »
My little guy is 4 months.  I dream feed him at 10:45.  He wakes every night around 2:30 and I give him his pacifier.  He then wakes around 5 or 6 for a bottle and is then down til about 8:15 when he wakes for the day.  Any ideas on how to nip the 2:30 wake up for the paci??

If it is a truly habitual waking, you could try wake to sleep and see if it helps: How do I address habitual wakings? (wake-to-sleep and other methods)

Does he go directly back to sleep after you give him the paci?

He does go right back to sleep, thankfully!

I might try wake to sleep then and see if it gets you anywhere.  It does sound very much like a habit.

Thanks!  I'll try starting next week.  We have a sitter Saturday night and I don't want her to have to do that too!

Good luck, let us know how you get on!
