My 3.5 month old son had blinking / droopy eyes after his feed, even after waking up for a min after I burped him.  When this happens, would you usually just put him down to nap given he is showing signs of sleepiness or stick to your regular EASY routine/nap time?  Background - he had interrupted sleep last night (happens maybe 2 nights in a week), where I woke and could hear him furiously sucking his hand trying to soothe himself (for 1.5 hrs - God love him for trying =)) then finally slept after I helped him with patt/shhh - PU/PD where he did cry for a lot of the 30 mins but then went back to sleep.  Thanks!

I always tried to stick to the feeding times i.e. I did wake to feed but if they were that tired that they wanted to go straight to sleep I let them. I guess if it happens a lot or becomes a problem i.e. lots of Nwings then we might have to look at it again but if it is a one-off then no problem.
