He did 1hr15 couldn't resettle he was happy as a clam. I think for him it's UT ::) (8.22-9.38)

Tried to get him to 1pm but he wasnt having a bar of it
pm nap was 12.25-2.10 (I APOPed 40-1hr20)  )

He was miserable about 1 hr into his A time and fussy eating and feeding. And he is doing pain cries during A and in my arms asleep so I'm not sure if its teething or a bit of reflux :-\ he has had pain meds too just incase it's teeth.

Any who....in two minds about CN or battle on to BT. Either way I know he will end up OT ::)

Do you agree that first nap may be UT? - if so ill push an extra 10 tomorrow.

Thanks honey :-*

Sounds like a plan.

Yes I think the 1hr15 nap was probably UT. That nap length always was for us I think.

:-* going to take a few days to deal with this sleep I think. I'm wondering if us trying to ap him when he went settle is causing issues because he doesn't want us too do so YK? So I think we're stuck, he wants to settle but is struggling because we interrupt him too much.

Ill report back Monday - but may post days on here for a record x

Yeah last night was good for him. We always get ENW no matter what but usually at 35 mins so I was quite happy :) I know he doesn't need two NF but we have feeding problems so I'm happy to feed so he gets the milk in and minimise constipation!

Our problem I think is he can't quite do a 12 hr day...so we go in a cycle. One good, on ok one bad night etc. still pushing As....today nap will be as close to 9.10 as we can get. X

Ok so update. ;)
We have teething and constipation issues but overall I'm trying to do the following
1) get A times right. I think we're almost there at 2hrs50-3hrs, 3hrs and 3hrs15 to BT.
After a bad night where he has a long EW then 40 mins before WU he can do 2hrs30 then has his am nap.
2) get feeds back on track. Getting there. ... He is feeding well during the day now but has 2 NF still.
If he has a NF too close to WU it throws us off.
3) sort out these NW. Last night was the first in fore er we didn't have ENW! :D

So today
WU 6.15 (after a NW 4.30-5.30 from tummy pain and constipation)
Nap 8.45-10.10
Nap 1.10-2.20 extended till 3.20-30 ish (DH did I've been sick)
BT 6.25 NW 7.05, 7.45 ( fed because we had feeding refusal at bt)
NW 12.30 - cat got in and woke him!! Grrrrrrrr
EW 5 ::)
Do you think I'm right in really trying to hold that first nap out as close to 9 as possible to prevent this EW rubbish? We get it most nights even when not in pain.
Also, I was going to stick with BT no earlier than 6 really...With 2 NF max and 4 hrs apart at least

Anything else you think I should be doing to get this kid on track? :-*

Ugh, EW 5am! I'm so tired! He slept on and off till 6.30
We seem to have horrendous constipation issues at this time of the morning. So I just don't know how to fix it!
Nap 9.05-10.50 but 2 resettles. One at 35 so OT ::)
Nap 1.40-3.10 with a 40 min replug.
Going for 6.00 BT (last 2 BT he's settled in cot with pressure and patting)

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Yes I agree with your plan in the last but one post. Pushing the first nap always helped here with EWs.
Is he having solids now? If so maybe stick to laxative foods for a few days. Thinks like prunes, pears and peas I'm thinking.

Thanks Hun. I'm 99% sure the EW and inability to settle is bowel related. Today I only gave pear and pumpkin, I've also upped his lactulose (dr approved) I have prunes but didn't think about peas. I also have blueberries ill add to his pear.

It's just so frustrating. He is settling on his own really well and doesn't want ap which is sad because he needs ap a bit and I know he isn't NW from props but just discomfort. But it still feels were doing everything wrong. :( (that made no sense but hopefully ykwim)

That makes perfect sense. I hope the lactulose works soon. Do you give him solids late in the day? Maybe sticking with morning and lunchtime would give it time to get through his system.

It's good he settles himself but I know what you mean about wishing you could help.
