I'll hold your hand Sara :)

Do you mean he was awake 4.30-6.30am?

Thanks ali, Yes :o I'm a mess....I'm trying not to let sleep rule my life but I feel I've spent months getting him on track and now we are so so off it. I feel sick thinking about it.

He was shattered within the hour, but OT and all wriggly hyper ::) here is how the day is going so far
WU 7.15
Finally got nap at 9 and at 9.40 attempted resettle. (1 sleep cycle for him) its 9.50 now. I doubt he will go back to sleep but I can't spend lots of time helping him anymore as I have Zac most mornings. Before I had my SIL taking Z out 3 times a week. ( she has gone to Melbourne :( )

Is his reflux under control now do you think?

Is the 4.30 waking a regular occurrence?

Can you let him nap in the sling, buggy or car so you can get out with Z?

He's just had the 6 mth GS. I don't see any obvious reflux discomfort though he is constipated. He has been sick for weeks so I wonder if he's just all out of sync YK?

I did a CN yesterday and every time I do one it backfires and he ends up OT and does a short night but this 4.30-6.30 thing is uncommon.

He won't sleep in the car or buggy :( he is too big for the wrap and gets angry in it now he's so much more alert. But I am going to take Z out to the park when t wakes no matter what. We're doing play doh ATM. The house is a tip but it will have to wait.

He does best with 6-6 with the CN it's always closer to 7/8 then he's up before 6 YK?

What A would you do if I get a good nap? He's still asleep at 10.10

Ok he's had a good am nap. Up at 10.45 so ill go for 2.5 and hope he sleeps till 3 so I can do EBT.

He can do 3hrs even 3.15 to BT. But ideally 2hrs45h. He was on the cusp of an increase a month ago though so I think 2.5 may be too short now, but he is rubbish today :-\

Thanks Hun, I'm so close to loosing it today :(

Sorry, serial posting - I'm just recording the day and will update the post with WU and NW.
WU 7.15 (after that terrible long NW)
Nap 9-10.45 (extended at 45)
Nap 1.20-3.10 (extended at 40 but had to ap rest of nap as he was behaving UT and wanting to hang out)
BT 5.55 settled to sleep in 2 mins from going into cot. Stirred at 35 but usually always stirs no matter what A time.

Also, today he got on all 4s for the first time ever. And trying to crawl in cot ::) this is likely part of the issue right?

That's not a bad day is it? Maybe push another 10-15 mins on the A time if he seems to be able to handle it now he is better.

We had a great night. First close to STTN with no NF in ages!
NW 10 for paci
WU 5.30 fed in room at 5.45 up in my bed at 6

I thinks needs more A...but don't know if he will last till 9 :-\ thinking watch him from 8.15 ish to pd between 8.30-9? I really need to make sure he lasts till 6 on 2 naps. The CN is terrible in this house.

I often find pushing the morning A time helps with EW with DS2. I went through a time when I had to put him down as if he had woke at 7 even though he had woken at 5.30. That and (eventually) a later BT really helped. He still like ore-7am wakings most mornings though::)

:( he only lasted till 8.22 ;) out as soon as I pd. I don't mind 5.30/6 as long as he sleeps well YK? He does a short night if down after 7pm. Z was the same as a baby ::) plus it's dark early and light early ATM (though we have blackouts)
