4 and half old nw

hi lo is 4 and half mths he has started moving around alot in his cot and gets stuck up at the top against the bars. He has been starting to move alot more at nite and i am unsure what to do. He is in his own cot in his own room. He sleeps in a grobag. I was thining that mayb he was hunrgy so gave a bottle but he only took few ozs and will go back over but wakes again when he moves around. i find if i feed during the nite he doesnt really take his morning bottle. here is a normal day for us

s catnap anytime between 6-7
e730 and bedtime rountie and up to bed

df at 11 which he usally takes between 4-6 oz

he takes 7 oz in his bottles and i am starting to wean him with baby rice.

He has a dummy during the day but doesnt take it at nite likes to suck his thumb but hasnt really got it rite yet. Was thinking a cot bummer would help and divider any help b great thats. oh i think he has already gone though his 4 th growth spurt as he was 8 oz bout 3 weeks ago with that

I think its probably developmental - to do with increased mobility and if its that, you just have to ride it out. If he's happy, leave him. If he's getting upset, use shush/pat and see if he'll go back to sleep. If he wakes within an hour from that, give him a small feed in case he's hungry.

The baby rice... pretty tough on little tummies - did the wakings start shortly after starting the baby rice? If so, when are you feeding it to him? Best to do solids in the morning an hour or so after milk when you start out so it doesn't affect the night so much.
