I've put her to bed soooo early!!
« on: April 23, 2013, 17:29:20 pm »
My DD is 2 years 2 months and moved up to the 2-3 yrs room at nursery last week. Subsequently her daytime naps are shot and I have one grumpy, miserable little lady who has been up since 6am!, I've just put her to bed and I'm so scared its too early... She is usually an 11 hour sleeper which makes wake up 5.30 aaagggghhh please say I've done the right thing :(

Vibes that she surprises you! :) When OT, an early bedtime generally helps here (especially at that age) and almost never gave us an earlier WU and often actually gave a longer night and a later WU.

Good luck :)

Same as what Catherine said :)

FXd it works for you too.

I would have done exactly the same thing.

Even after ot wakings early eve, she can still settle well and give you a good night.

oh dear :(  sorry it didn't work and you got such an early WU - ugh!

if you'd done later BT though, she would have been more OT so you might have got exactly the same WU  :-\
at least this way she got more sleep

How long was her night in the end?

FXd you can get a good nap today to get her back on track for a reasonable BT x

We fixed it yesterday as she was so exhausted by lunchtime that she slept at nursery... But only for 30 mins...so slept like a log last night but back to no sleep at nursery again today... Feel like I'm on an emotional merry go round!

Ugh - is she at nursery 5 days/week?

Hopefully she will adjust to napping in the new room soon!

Can she nap in the other room at nursery?
