9 week old short nap how to stay on easy
« on: June 18, 2013, 01:33:34 am »
My nine week old takes short 45 minute naps and sometimes won't resettle to extend them.  How do I stay on three hour schedule?

Sometimes 45 min naps at this age can be developmental, and sometimes they can be an indicator that the naps are happening a little too early so the LO is Ut (undertired). If you'd like to post your day in EAS format we can far a look for you. Sometimes if an LO is ready to stretch time between feeds but still isn't sleeping for long enough, you might end up with an SAEAS pattern for a while, this is ok especially for scuba small one, just try and not feed to sleep if you can, maybe change a nappy or something like that between E and S to keep them separate.
