Ineffective pumping
« on: August 15, 2013, 15:38:39 pm »
I'm EBF my 9wo . Today I'm trying to pump a bottle for DH to give DS tonight and I can't get anything. I tried after each feeding today and it is completely dry. I got 4oz on Tuesday as a practice round and DS took the bottle (Yay) so I'm not sure what is going wrong!

If you're feeling stressed about getting a certain amount for a certain time that can impact on letdown as well.

Have you checked the pump is set up correctly and working? Sounds like a stupid question but I've had trouble before and then realised the tubing wasn't pushed in properly.
