NW for 2 hours.....urgggggg!!
« on: August 16, 2013, 12:22:59 pm »
Hi
My LO is 15 months old on Monday and we seem to be in a rut of 2 hour NW!!!
He is teething but meds don't seem to help, day nap is pretty good apart from nursery days!
Day looks like this
WU 6.15/6.30
Nap 11.30/12 for 1.5/2 hours
BT 7 ish

He settles at naps and BT fine and the NW are unhappy a bit like OT ones where can't resettle, they vary from 11pm to 2am and last 1-2 hours. He is defo trying out some independence tactics as can be very quick to a tantrum style throw himself on the floor episode! The min I try and leave the room he screams and reaches out for me! This only happens in middle of the night :-(

Would you stick to same A times for day routine when you get these NW? I find if I do 2 naps these days I get BT resistance!!
Any BTDT advice greatly appreciated x
Zoe

Hi!

For us long NW that you describe are usually UT here, developmental or teeth.

Your day looks good. You could try a slightly later BT if you think your LO could be UT?

Hi thanks for that, we got no NW last night and a 11.5 hour night so that was a relief! He had a 2.5 hour midday nap yest and seemed shattered after 5 hours A to bed so think its definitely developmental or teeth!x
