Hello
We are starting summertime daylight savings here in Australia tonight and I'm hoping that this might help me to shift my Los day forward by up to an hour.
His current routine is ( he is 17 months old)
Wu: between 5.20 and 5.45 am ( leave in cot till 6.30 am)
Nap: between 11.45 and 12.15 pm ( depending on mood and wu)
Length varies between 1 hr and 1hr 20 mins ( will never resettle but i try and leave him for a total of 2 hours quiet 'cot time')
Bt : 6-6.45 pm depending on nap and morning wu time
Now his routine doesn't suit me:( mornings are too early and we have bubs 2 arriving in 3 months so I'm trying to figure out how to change it. it's been his routine for as long as I can remember except that on two naps he did an hour am nap and 30 mins pm nap.
As you can see , he is very lsn but is generally happy. I have tried and tried and tried to get him to nap longer and wake up later in the Am by pushing nap out, making nap earlier , resettling, leaving to resettle etc etc etc and nothing works!!!
So my question is , how do I go about correctly pushing his day out ( and staying that way hopefully!!!) as of tomorrow morning when he wakes? It'll be 6.30 am approx and I'm conscious that he l would've had an hour less night sleep. What times would you do? I want to try and stick to later bt , later nap and not resort back to ebt after afew days since this routine has just become norm now.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts
