He has always been a low sleep needs baby - typically 13 hrs/day since he was really young (3 mos-on). His typical day looks like this:
7-7:30 - W
1215/1230 - S - usually sleeps for 1.75 hr, sometimes it's only 1.25/1.5 hr nap.
1900 - Nurse then get him ready for bed. Usually falls asleep by 1930. Maybe later if he woke up around 2:30.
He's been down to one nap the last 2 weeks. He seems to be tolerating it relatively well. We could easily put him down by 11/11:30, but then he would still only take 1.5 hr nap most days and then wouldn't take an afternoon catnap. So after doing that for a week or so, we just decided to push him a little harder. He isn't up for 6-7 hrs anymore since we've pushed him more. Unless he is hard going down.
He has been teething a storm lately - in the last 3 weeks he has gotten 3 teeth and we're pretty sure he's going to get 2 more in the next week or so. Today he went down super easy. I think he's gonna fall into what you're kiddo does. I got away with some APOP this morning and the first hard go-down on Sunday. I think I'll just keep to that. He's generally tolerated illness/teething pretty well so far, but babies change. Just when you think you have them figured out.
