I've been trying to post unsuccessfully for months now, somehow my log in wasnt working. Sorry for a long post.

My 11 month old LO had colic for 4 plus months and silent reflux which got better from 4.5 to 8 months when she would sleep after a bedtime routine and sleep fighting (crying and resisting) at 7 -8 pm (though never through the night) using a pacifier. When it started falling out every hour, we weaned her off and she started fighting sleep really bad. Tried CIO, controlled crying etc, just made her hysterical and cried more with each day. Then teething started, she had a bad case of reflux again, both of which have now subsided. During that time we would pat/rock/carry etc to make her sleep somehow as we needed any rest we could get. To this day she has been habitually waking at the first 30 minute mark for every single nap and at bedtime. We can’t leave her in the crib alone now as she has started to stand but falls down easily and could get hurt. She can fight and stay awake for 5-6 hours playing after the last nap if we don’t force carry and rock her. Inspite of trying for a 7 pm bedtime, She now sleeps anywhere from 10 pm to 7.30 am (with consistent wake ups) and 2 thirty minute naps during the day. She is tired cranky and since she weighs 9 plus kg, its becoming next to impossible for me to continue carrying her. I am physically and mentally at my tether's end, sleepless for 11 months. Last few nights she wakes up every hour.
The reflux doesnt seem to be there anymore ( after the Homeo meds) docs have ruled out ear infections, the osteopath said she is fine and yet she is never comfortable in any position that we hold her in when she cries, keeps moving her head or climbs up to keep her chin on my shoulder upright. So we dont really have any schedule now!
Clueless as to whats wrong. Please please, any pointers on what to check would be helpful.
Thank You for reading.

Can I ask how you know the reflux is gone? To me it sounds like it's not quite gone but maybe she isn't vomiting anymore? (My lo has had silent reflux since birth and only diagnosed at 6 months! Have it under control now with food)...

The reason I say this is that 30 minutes after eating or drinking, the stomach does a large contraction to move its contents along. It also happens at 90 min after mealtime.  In babies with reflux, this large contraction often forces food and sometimes acid back up into the eosophagus again causing some discomfort.  I know that my lo used to only sleep for 30 min as this would wake her up.

Does you lo also suffer with wind discomfort? If so, then by tackling the food she eats (and if she is bf the food you eat) will calm the situation down. You cannot sleep train whilst there is any discomfort going on.

Happy to discuss further if you are interested. X
Did you know that acupuncture can help mums and babies? For thousands of years the Chinese have been using it to support women and children. Please ask me a question if you would like some support.

Agree with pp - worth looking into!

Do you have any way to APOP her for a couple of days just to get her reset - poor LO sounds overtired!  Also, maybe try an early bedtime - say. 6pm.

Is she bottle or breast fed and how is she doing on solids?  Allergies?

She might be climbing you so you don't put her down - the BW is against CIO because it breaks trust so I'm sure you have worked hard to regain that trust.  Are you familiar with PD?  Check out this page and see if it might help you:
