Nursing before bed
« on: December 20, 2013, 17:24:08 pm »
So I used to feed at 7, little activity, lullaby, lotion, pjs, rock then bed. Recently I've been nursing again during the rock while she's getting sleepy but still put her to bed awake. She's doing awesome... Only waking once at 3:00am (3months old). Should I be doing this? I love it and dont mind doing it but I'm worried that I'm making it part of her routine and that if and when I stop she will have trouble going to bed.

Tbh I fed all 3 of my girls to sleep at bedtime and at least for the older two it did not create an issue...gradually as they learned to self settle for naps they went to bed slightly more awake after the last feed (I always flipped the order of EASY at bedtime to AES). Hopefully it works this time around too! Since she is going down awake I would not be concerned really.
