ds is 3y7mo, an average eater, bit fussy. Since last week his appetite is HUGE!! Ive been feeding him as much as he wants as its not affecting meal times- is that ok?

Is this normal amount of food for an active toddler or alot?

Friday

Breakfast cheerios (wo milk) slice of toast, pear
Snack two crackers raisins
Lunch 1.5 paratas with lamb and mushroom curry tangerine
Snack cheese strings, slice of bread
Tea two fish fingers , carrot waffles and peas, sweetcorn, carrots
Snack nuts

yesterday

Breakfast cheerios (wo milk) slice of toast, plum,
Snack cracker, raisins
Lunch rice and chicken (adult portion) dates
Snack banana large rice cake
Tea french toast cheese strings chocolate kinder egg

Today

Breakfast cheerios, pear, toast
Lunch pasta with hidden cauliflower in sauce, sweetcorn, olives, plain pasta
Snack cracker, cheese string, banana (its only 1.30 here...)

so....is this normal? Hes eating more than i do! the only change that has happened is ive stopped giving him 300ml.milk he was having in a bottle ::) ::) and he still isnt drinking it from a cup tho...

There's a 7 months age difference so you might want to wait until someone with closer experience comes along, but I'd say it's totally normal. I know many people have picky eaters who appear to live off thin air and in comparison what your DS eats looks like a huge amount, but compared to what my DS eats it seems normal to me.  Healthy appetite. Mine still has 200ml milk per day in a cup and I would totally expect his food needs to go up even more if he dropped that milk.  It looks like it's either just the drop in milk or combined milk drop plus growth spurt coming up - do you think he is due a spurt?
