Nap time gone funny
« on: February 09, 2014, 14:06:31 pm »
Hi guys,

This is my 21 months old routine:

6.30 wake up
Breakfast
12 lunch
Then nap after lunch for around 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending if at crèche or not.
4 dinner
7.30 bed

He sleeps fine at the crèche as all the other children go down at the same time but at the weekends he just won't settle after his lunch. He gets himself very upset in his cot and there's only so long you can leave them.

Do you think I need to not offer his nap until he shows more signs?

I have gone out in the car both weekend days and he has fallen asleep straight away. Thoughts please and thank you xxx

are you offering the nap at home at the same time as the nap at weekends?

Any more thoughts on this ladies?

He is still refusing to sleep after lunch. And ha since gone down at about 2 after a protest though. Otherwise I've luckily been out walking and he has gone to sleep.

Should I just wait until he shows signs of tiredness ?

Maybe hes just not tired like he is at daycare? Less activity at home. Maybe offer 30min later at home?
