To get up or not to get up
« on: February 18, 2014, 03:19:12 am »
Hi guys,

so I have another question. My baby is 3 months old and he goes to bed at 1830, dream feeds at 2200, wakes up again between 2 and 3. In the book it says in that age children would wake up between 5 and 6 in the morning. So my question is: Sam wakes up around that time but only to eat and pretty much falls asleep right afterwards for 1.5 to 2 hours. Should I get up with him at 530 and make him stay up or should I let him sleep?

Thank you <3

I always let them sleep as I am not a morning person and did not want to reinforce that as a wake time...but bedtime here was 7/7:30 or so and aiming for a 7/7:30 wake up.

Let him sleep!  Unless you want to be starting your day at 5.30am for a particular reason?

It is typical babies wake at that time but not desirable to start the day then. I would definitely let him sleep! :)
