9 month old sudden wakings
« on: June 17, 2014, 23:20:25 pm »
LO is 9 months old and teething at the moment. Recently wakes up every day about an hour after BT, and demands BF, she is EBF, there is no way to calm her down otherwise.I know I shouldn't feed her to sleep, but there is no other way and she get herself into a state. So she lays in bed with me and it takes about half hour before I can move her to her bed as if I take breast away she starts moving her lips looking for it. Is this sudden need for sucking caused by teething?

Could she be overtired? That's what wake-ups after bedtime usually mean for my munchkins. I've never really been able to pinpoint what behavior is teething, as they seem to be getting new teeth one after the other for months on end!

Is she an independent sleeper or is she fed to sleep for naps and bedtime. Could you post your routine please? Have you tried to resettle her without feeding?
