Wow!!! Thank you SO MUCH for such a quick response.
Not a stupid question at all! That's so funny that we do them backwards! Yes.. May 6!
That's good to know that this is common. Seems like most people I ask say they've never heard of this before. Lucky me! Haha but that makes me feel better.
I have tried putting the paci back in a few times but I think it may be too late by the time I get to him. I've also tried w2s by lightly brushing his head or face. "Worked" one time but it was the afternoon nap that he often sleeps for awhile anyway so I'm not sure if that's why. Also tried it again this morning at 35 minutes and his eyes popped WIDE open after a really light touch and then he was awake... BUT then his next nap (which is usually a short one as well) was 2.5 hours long!!! First time that that happened on one of the morning naps. So I don't know what I did differently or if it was just luck.
So you're saying that my A time every morning after he wakes up is what should be consistent? If his ideal A time according to his age is 1 hour 20-30 min, and he starts showing tired signs at 45min-1 hour, do I keep him awake? Is that what you mean by the push?
