Hi,

DD is 8 weeks and has a nasty chest infection. she's been on amoxicillin for nearly a week and we're struggling. she's wiped out and is therefore sleeping a lot more than normal, I just can't keep her up after feeds (today she's only be awake for about 2 hrs and it's 2.30pm now!) she's taking half her usual feed (2oz instead of 4) the medicine has given her awful diarrhoea so her little bum is red raw and blistered- we've got good cream from the nurse. :-[

basically the poor mite is in a right state but I don't know do I just go with the flow, let her sleep and feed her little and often? it makes the EASY a complete mess but does it matter when she's not well?

help!

Absolutely go with the flow and let her sleep. I'd say that even for an older LO but at such a tiny age even more so. There is plenty of time to establish a routine once she's better. ((Hugs)) to you both x

Def def allow to feed and sleep and feed and sleep. Trying to stick with a routine could make her more unwell really  :(.

Poor little thing  :'( :-*
