Quick Question regarding sleep times and 1-0
« on: December 01, 2014, 14:27:20 pm »
Hey all,
M is average to high sleep needs.  Never tacked on with a EBT.

He had dropped his nap and it really OT.  I've tried a couple of EBT and it just results in a 450/510 WU.

Any ideas at all?  He had a APOP'd car nap yesterday from 230-330pm and then took ages to settle for BT despite only having had a 10 hour night the night before.

How long should he be sleeping in a 24hr period? What's the average and what should I aim for?

The transition from 1-0 can be very long winded!! Ds dropped her actual nap, but frequently gets to bout 3pm and then drops to sleep wherever she is (car, stroller, carpet) and is pretty unrousble for at least 15 mins. That said, late naps result in a late bt and often an ew. Grrrr!

I think the ideal at this age would be a 12 hour day and 12 hour night.

Okay, so 12/12 sounds good. Just how to make it happen!
