Almost 2yr old not eating or drinking much.
« on: February 24, 2015, 18:10:37 pm »
For the past couple of weeks DD has not wanted to each much. She either leaves the meal completely or eats a couple of bites and sometimes says no like (when she does like usually)

She's also hardly drinking. Again says she doesn't like the juice/water or just refuses to drink if I remind her too or doesn't like the cup... You get the picture!

The fussiness and not wanting to eat I can handle (just) as we are managing to get something in her throughout the day but the not drinking.... She's not having as near the same amount of wet nappies.
Last wk she went about 18hours without one and I was on the verge of calling 111 to see if I needed to see a doctor but then she went.

It's not been that long since but probably only having a couple of wet nappies a day. Is that enough?

I should also add we've had some foul smelling poops (sorry tmi). Could it be teeth? Infection? Bug? I don't know whether to take her to the docs or if there's anything they can do?

She seems back to her normal self since the weekend but is waking in the night?

Do you think this is illness or more her being nearly 2 and trying to have some control over things or teeth?
Lauren
