SHould i cap this nap?
« on: March 02, 2015, 17:44:57 pm »
I think its a little late to ask but maybe for future reference...DS had a rough night last night. Im really sticking to sleep training. So last night he was up more than normal. He went down at his normal time, maybe 15 minutes early for his am nap. He was up at 615/630 and went down at 930. It is 1145 and hes still asleep. Should I have capped this nap or let him ride it out? His sleep was so crazy last night that I wanted to let him catch up but now im afraid this is going to throw the rest of the day off.

Normally, on two naps I'd not let him go over 2hr, 2hr15min max, as you're right you don't really want it to mess with the rest of the day and end up OT again at BT. Yay for the great nap, though... it wasn't too long ago you were only getting 30-45min, right?

(((Hugs))) for the ST and rough nights. Hang in there! :-*

Yes we were pretty consistent on 30-45 minute naps. Today his am nap was 2 hrs. Yesterday his pm nap was an 1.15 but today he got woken up at 30 minutes and was not happy lol. I'm wondering if since he's crawling and pulling up that'd helping. I'm assuming the long am nap is just from being over tired after long nights but I'll take them any way I can get them!!!
