Lol yes!  Honestly do you know any other babies whose number of teeth keep pace with their age in months?!

I've given him pain meds twice today, each time within about 45 mins his mood has improved dramatically.  Meds pre-nap tomorrow it is then :)

Just popping in with some support. We did 2-1 transition with your help,  so happy to be here and give some advice.
At that age we went though WW and after 2 days of 1 nap at 10mo, we pulled off for 1 month I guess as he was so so tired. Never figured out if that's because of 1 nap days and cummulated OT or rather just some regression in sleep needs.

Could be a bit of both, I think. Will be interesting to see what he does tomorrow after meds... FX. Although, if he only sleeps around an hr, at least the second nap is less in danger of being refused! ;) :P ::)

Thank you for the support :)

He slept.....2h15!!  So today has been WU 5.45 but quick resettle (I think!! He was quiet at least) until 6.20, nap 10.50-13.05.  I'm thinking 6pm BT?  CN not going to happen...

Well done, B! :) 6pm sounds good to me, although I wouldn't hesitate to do 5:45 if needed.

We are doing ok, got a pretty settled 12hish night after that nap :). Two naps yesterday and STTN 7-6am.  Today a bit annoying though - he did 10.35-12.40 but with a resettle at 40 mins  :-\ I hadn't given meds as thought I'd try a day without so could have been that.  Bit stuck to know how to play the afternoon though....will be OT by 6pm bedtime and not especially keen to go earlier as he really doesn't reliably tack on, but can't see him settling for a nap before 5ish, if at all....ugh this phase is so annoying!

Am thinking will try him in bed if he shows any signs of tiredness around 4.30/5, keep it short and 7pm BT as usual, or if refused then maybe 5.45ish?  And hope he can manage a 12h night and two naps tomorrow?

Sounds like a plan to me... FX it works out for you.  I'm assuming there's no chance to AP a 15min CN around 4:30/5?

Can I have some quick thoughts about our day yesterday?  We had a bit of a rubbish night and I'm not sure if routine was the issue or back to teeth (plus he started walking yesterday :D )

WU 5.55
Nap 10.35-12.35 (woke but ss after 35 mins)
Nap 16.35-17.05 - was quite surprised he went for this, it was in bed and I woke him
BT put down 19.00 but took 25 mins or so to settle, was chattering to himself

Then mumbled at 20.10, cried on and off between 20.40-21.00, 22.00ish and just after midnight, I gave him some meds at that point in case teeth were the issue and he slept to 5.30 then chattered/dozed until 6.  Obviously very tired this morning after an unsettled night so had an early CN on the way to church. Will try for a long pm nap.

Can you see anything obviously wrong with the day?  Possibly UT at bedtime?  He's never struggled to settle 2h after a 30 min nap before, but A time prior to the CN has usually been longer and morning nap shorter.

Would be quite surprised Katherine is this was UT. I mean long time to settle yes fine, but he had 2.5h of day sleep and 13.5h day... How much sleep he usually gets and how long is his usual day?

If he does one nap day is about 12h or so, with a 2-2h15 nap.  On two naps it's usually a 13h day with around the same amount of daytime sleep.  So this was more than usual daytime sleep for a two nap day.

Yes but still I can understand his struggle at BT but those frequent wakings? And this morning 2h nap with a resettle at 35min also suggests rather OT?
